STM is the first musical theatre school<\/strong> in Italy to be recognized as an AFAM institution by the Italian Ministry of University and Research<\/strong>, and the only one to be permanently based within prestigious and historic theatres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STM\u2019s educational mission<\/em><\/strong> places student training at the centre of its work: only a limited number of students are admitted each year to its professional programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The strict admissions selection process<\/strong> is a deliberate educational choice, designed to ensure that every student receives the highest level of individual attention and support, something that would not be possible with larger groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STM is the musical theatre school with the most comprehensive academic curriculum<\/strong> approved<\/strong> by the Italian Ministry of University and Research<\/strong>, and the highest number of teaching hours<\/strong>.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students work individually or in small groups in close contact with their teachers, who support them closely in order to develop the potential of each individual student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Services for Students with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students have access to open, collaborative facilities with ample space<\/strong> for studying, spending time with classmates, and enjoying exciting and rewarding experiences within a structured and comprehensive training programme that requires strong commitment and determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STM is based in student-friendly university cities<\/strong>, integrated into a cultural and theatrical network of the highest quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At its historic Novara campus, the prestigious Fondazione Teatro Carlo Coccia<\/strong> produces opera performances, including co-productions with major international festivals. Students have the opportunity to play a leading role in the productions and initiatives<\/strong> of Teatro Coccia, gaining valuable professional experience from the very first steps of their careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Milan campus, located within the Teatro degli Arcimboldi<\/strong>, Italy\u2019s largest stage, is at the heart of a vibrant university and cultural district that offers students opportunities both within and beyond Academy life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STM Studio<\/strong> is a multimedia venue within the Teatro degli Arcimboldi<\/strong> in Milan, programmed and managed by the acting students of the academic courses. A space for production<\/strong>, training<\/strong>, and experimentation<\/strong>, open to the public and dedicated to the new expressions of contemporary musical theatre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every year STM organises trips abroad<\/strong> to attend the leading productions on stage in the capitals of contemporary musical theatre: London<\/strong> and New York<\/strong> are the most frequent destinations, but there are also opportunities to travel to other European cities and discover the most significant experiences of the international theatre scene.
